Why Root & Rise
We're a small tea company that believes you should actually know what's in your cup. Every blend starts with real herbs, sourced from certified-organic suppliers, and a clear reason for being there. No vague wellness language, no mystery ingredients — just tea we'd want to drink ourselves.
Meet the Plants
Chamomile, tulsi, elderflower, ginger — the herbs in your cup aren't a mystery. Every blend page lists exactly what's inside, rooted in herbal tradition, and why it's there. Tea should be something you understand, not just something you drink.
From the Ground Up
Right now, our herbs come from established organic suppliers. But we're working toward something bigger — closer relationships with growers, and eventually, a working piece of land in Georgia that can grow more of what's in your cup.
The longer vision goes further than herbs: a place for agriculture, education, and rest — a wellness retreat where people can slow down and reconnect with where their food comes from. It's early, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. No property is secured, and no timeline is set. But every jar supports the slow, practical work of building toward it.
Small-Batch, On Purpose
Root & Rise started small — ten jars per blend, sold by hand — and it's still built that way today. We'd rather grow slowly and stay honest about where things stand than pretend to be bigger than we are.
